The Reichert Planetarium presents an exciting program for young astronomers!

This is a series of educational workshops run by the Reichert Planetarium’s talented astronomy educators. Junior Astronomers have the opportunity to learn about multiple astronomy topics including our solar system, how to use a telescope, and identifying constellations they can see from their own backyard! This program focuses on hands-on learning with STEAM activities and crafts supplemented by immersive live and pre-recorded fulldome presentations in our Planetarium theater.

Registration is open for children entering 3rd – 5th grade.

This form is to register for the Junior Astronomer Workshop running Monday, July 13th – Friday, July 17th, 2026. Each session is from 9:00am – 12:00pm.

Cost: $250 for guests | $225 for members.
