This event is a free live lecture in the Reichert Planetarium at the Vanderbilt Museum at 11:00 am on Monday, November 11, 2019. The lecture will cover the transit of Mercury across the sun. Weather permitting, the solar scope will be available for safely viewing this event.

Warning: Never look directly at the Sun without proper solar filters. Permanent damage and blindness will occur.

Please arrive ten minutes before the lecture begins.

If you are interested in touring the Estate grounds and Museum after the lecture, you must purchase general admission at the admissions desk after the lecture.
